The iris of the eye is the most complex tissue of the body. It brings images of the outside world to us, but, it also shows us images of what is going on within our body.
The iris is an extension of the brain that has thousands of nerve endings, microscopic blood vessels as well as muscle and connective tissue attached to it.
When you have an area in your body that is unbalanced the nerve endings pull back in that area leaving the markings on the iris.
Every organ is connected to the iris via the nervous system. The nerve fibres receive their impulses by way of the optic nerve, optic thalami and spinal cord. They are formed embryologically from mesoderm and neuroectoderm tissues. Both sympathetic and parasympathic nervous systems are present in the iris.
Since this all happens at the time the baby is forming in the womb Iridology can tell you from the infant stage the challenges a person will have in years to come.
If proper preventative health care measures are taken, concerns can be minimized.
